I've been on obsessed with reusing everything glass that I have, from reusing the glass jars and glass bottles (you can read about that here) and now glass candle jars. I'm going on this zero waste kick and I can't be more pleased with myself. I say that if this world is going to crap, it won't be because of me! I'm also all about saving money, and repurposing what you already have is one of the most cost efficient ways of doing this...not to mention that it's environmentally friendly. Check out this super easy DIY project using glass candle jars that have tops. I love it when a DIY project is super duper easy and doesn't really require too many items. In this case, I had a couple of glass jars that I cleaned out, first by melting the left over glass and then washing with extremely hot water to get any residuals out. After that, I looked around my place to see what I already had. That's where the river rocks and Gorilla glue came in. If you don't have river rocks, or don't like the look of river rocks, you can use anything that can work as a knob. Apply a little Gorilla glue, or crazy glue and let it dry. That's it! Check out the video below. I love how these came out, plus, I get that feel good sensation knowing that I upcycled something. What do you think? Will you try to make these? What have you upcycled?
