I've been on obsessed with reusing everything glass that I have, from reusing the glass jars and glass bottles (you can read about that here) and now glass candle jars. I'm going on this zero waste kick and I can't be more pleased with myself. I say that if this world is going to crap, it won't be because of me!
I'm also all about saving money, and repurposing what you already have is one of the most cost efficient ways of doing this...not to mention that it's environmentally friendly. Check out this super easy DIY project using glass candle jars that have tops.

![]() I recycle everything that my city allows me to, and at one point I found myself throwing out tons of glass mason jars and then buying tons of Ball & Kerr mason jars. Something didn't seem right with this picture. Why was I throwing out jars and then spending money on more? One of the reasons I didn't keep those spaghetti and jam jars was because the labels were always a pain to get off. I'd spend hours scraping off the glue, I'd try Goo be Gone, hot water, rubbing alcohol and also nail polish remover, all with varying degrees of success.
As hard as I try to keep my skin looking as perfect as possible, a pimple still sometimes manages to make its way through to my face. And they're always prominently displayed somewhere on my forehead, cheek or chin. Because of this, I need to make sure they're gone as fast as possible so I can go back to my regularly scheduled life.
